How does NeedSunshineNow work?
You enter your location, a budget, and how many days you want to travel. We fetch live weather forecasts for dozens of warm destinations and rank them by sunshine, temperature, and estimated cost — so you can see at a glance which sunny escape makes the most sense right now.
Are the flight and hotel prices accurate?
Prices shown are indicative estimates based on typical market rates. Actual prices change daily. Always check the booking platform for the real current price before deciding.
Is the weather forecast live?
Yes. Weather data is fetched from Open-Meteo and refreshed every hour. Forecasts are most reliable for the next 3–5 days.
Do you earn commission when I book?
We may earn a small affiliate commission if you click a link and complete a booking. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes from the platform, not you.
Why do some results show estimated prices?
For some destinations or when live flight data is unavailable, we show a typical estimated price based on historical data. These are marked accordingly.
Do you sell my personal data?
No. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my data?
Search inputs are stored only in your browser's localStorage — clear them any time via your browser settings. To remove your email from our alert list, email hello@needsunshinenow.com.
Which destinations are included?
We currently track over 90 sunny destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. We regularly add more.
Can I use it in my language?
Yes. The interface supports English, German, Dutch, French, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian. Use the language selector in the top navigation.
Is NeedSunshineNow free to use?
Yes, completely free. We earn from affiliate commissions when you book through our partner links.
